Starting guard for the Coral Gables Senior High Cavaliers, Junior Varsity Basketball team who went undefeated with a 20-0 perfect season. Won the inaugural Orange Bowl Junior Varsity Classic basketball tournament by hitting the game winning shot in the final minute of play.

Winner of 3 point shooting contest in school. Four year golf letterman and superb overall athlete.
