Service

How I am involved in service in my community and why these efforts are important to me:

I donate to mission collections every week. I am also involved with my school's can food drive we have every year. I rake leaves and cut grass for my elderly neighbors. I also like to take community service trips that allow me to interact and help kids and adults that are less fortunate and disabled.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. One example of how I have demonstrated leadership in both areas:

On the field or court I always feel like I am a good leader and show great sportsmanship. Off the court I feel I do my part as well. I express this by setting up and completing various community service projects. I like to be in control and in charge of anything I do like leaders should.

How I pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete:

I pursue healthy athletic performance everyday by getting my stretches and workouts in. I also try to be as healthy as possible with the food, protein shakes, and vitamins I consume. I love doing this knowing I am getting better and it's helping me with my health at the same time.
