Service
I am co-founder of a school service club, Food For Thought, which benefits a brain cancer foundation at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta. Our club raises money through food sales on campus with proceeds given to the Orr Brain Cancer Navigator Fund. Additionally, I volunteer at the Atlanta Food Bank, and just returned from a trip to South Africa where I supported the Ubuntu Education Fund. One of the projects I worked on in a township of Port Elizabeth, South Africa with the residents there was building a community garden. I am committed to helping fill needs in my local community, as well as globally when I can.
