Service
Every year, I take part in a charity walk/run that raises money for Epilepsy, which my brother has. I also do some tutoring for almost any subject in school. I volunteer at my Church by helping watch the little kids during the service. It is important to me because it teaches me that it isn't always about me. Helping others makes me feel like I am giving back for how fortunate I have been my entire life.
When it comes to High School team practices, I help the other girls if they need it. If they ask me, I will help them and I will be more than willing to. I encourage the girls to stay after and practice longer, and I help out my coach with new drills that I learn from my swing lessons.
Outside of golf, I tutor underclassmen.
For me, it is education first. Education will always be my primary goal, because that is what is going to be best for me in my future. After education, I dedicate almost all of my time to golfing. Over the summer, I practice every day and I also began going to a personal trainer to develop myself in a strong healthy way. I also set aside time for family and friend time. But almost all of my friends play golf.. I also try to work out as much as I can so I can build strength where it will help my golf game.
