Additional Info

During my freshmen and sophomore years I was a 500. wrestler but nothing compared to my accomplishments this year. I plan on working even harder this upcoming summer so I can reach my goal of becoming a state champ! I'm always trying to be agressive and on the offensive being that offense is the best defense. In neutral I'm tough and rarely get taken down, same goes for top and bottom. I believe I could've made it past regionals having beat several state qualifiers, but a shoulder injury made it difficult, but next year nothing will stop me!

Honors

3rd team all-conference, District Finalist, 3rd place finish at the Peter Barker, 5th place finish at the East Lake Invitational.

Service

How I am involved in service in my community and why these efforts are important to me:

I participate in many community events and enjoy helping others. I have accumulated over 400 community service hours.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. One example of how I have demonstrated leadership in both areas:

On the mat I try to push others to their best potential as well as my own. Off the mat I try to hold myself to high standards to represent myself, my team, and my school.

How I pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete:

I work hard day in day out to improve in athletics as well as academics. I plan on continuing to work hard in my atletics and more importantly academics.
