Started playing around 4 years ago. Started off shooting around 105, but now I am shooting around 80 to 83, and have worked through the winter with a golf pro to improve more. My goal my senior season is to be shooting any thing below 79.
For the 2011 golf season Nick earned 2nd team all Federal League, and for the golf team earned the most improved golfer award.

Service
I participate in my local church group and mentor the new golfers. This service as extended to the middle school program. This requires an understanding of their needs and encouraging them to continue in spite of lack of skill. I have had many a parent approach me for my patience with their child.
A healthy athletic performance requires maintaining a balance in my life. I read to study the game and read for enjoyment of the sport. I have developed my skill by practicing drills outlined by my private coach throughout the playing season and off season. I am willing to receive correction from my private coach about mechanics and mental game tactics.
Balance is also maintained by taking breaks to be with family. I have a large support system and we frequently have gatherings that gives me a mental break from the game.
