Personal Highlights

I train almost everyday year round. I have split my past 2 school years between NJ and FL to train. I attend a high school that opened 9/2010. We opened w/ a varsity team because I recruited girls and held clinics to teach them the game. I am a hard working student my GPA is 93.67. I play several instruments, but my love is tennis. I am ranked 15 in New Jersey girls 18s. I am Captain of my tennis team and received MVP 2010, 2011. I love tennis, I want to be part of a strong team. I will work and play hard!

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I was told when my new school opened in September 2010 they would have Varsity tennis only if we had enough girls. I worked hard to gather fellow classmates who had never played so I could form a team. Once I had enough girls I spent the summer holding tennis clinics at my home teaching the girls the fundamentals of tennis. Due to my hard work we opened our new school with it’s 1st Varsity team. This is our 2nd season and our team has grown in size and experience. During our practice I work on my game than help anyone regardless of their level work on there game. I treat everyone with respect.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I train year round. I eat balanced meals, workout on the court and off and rest my body when needed. I always have a positive outlook on life and a love for the game.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I volunteer with younger students as a mentor and help teachers. I have been a captain with USTA rally ball to build love for the game of tennis. I volunteer with church events. I also hold down a job in our family's retail business.
I am a member of the National Honor Society and Student Council.
I am a Scholar Atheltic.
