Just got back. We didn't perform as well as we should have. It was 117 and over a few games. Really hard to play in that kind of heat. Try outs start next weekend... I am going to rest a little...

OLYMPIA — Another tournament, another win.

Impact Fastpitch won the 2009 ASA 18U Regional Championship at Skyhawk
Park here Sunday, capping a long weekend that saw the team go 5-1 in a
tuneup before next week’s USA/ASA National Tournament.

Impact took wins over the Illusion (Longview), 5-2; the Spartans
(Woodland), 2-1; the Oregon Mystique, 9-4; and the Blaze (Bellevue),
7-2. Impact, however, lost a rematch with Blaze in the next game, 12-4,
to set up the championship finale.

Lauryn Ticknor pitched the title game — a 2-1 Impact win — and held Blaze to just five hits.

Impact scored in the fifth when Amber Tomlinson knocked home Jordan
Zurfluh, and again in the bottom...
