Finally Making Weight

After Football season of lifting, training, eating and conditioning my body I came into the Wrestling season weighing in at 162 lbs. When I weighed in at that my coach could not believe what he saw on the scale. Sure it was only 8% body fat but I still couldn't believe it. My goal this year wazs to make it to 145lbs but due to the legal terms I wasn't able to do it at the pace i wanted to. So I cut weight to 152 lbs by my first match and I never felt better, my body felt great and I was able to compete and I was actually busting up on my opponents and becoming ranked in the district. My higest rank was tied for number 1 in the district but after losing "the battle for the top spot" as I call it I am ranked tied for number 2 in the district. Although I was doing so good at this higher weight class I felt my best bet in the District Tourney and Regional Tourney was to drop to 145 still. As the season advanced I made sure I kept my bdoy right and when the Athletic Trainer gave me the "ok" to go to 145 I made sure I did it in the last week possible. Now I am at 144lbs feeling good, eating good, and still busting my tail in the wrestling room. With those 3 things I feel I will be a force to wreckin' with at any weight class.
