In my everyday life I try my best to keep a good atitude towards others. If I, as a leader, show signs of stress and anger it can affect those around me. In school I feel I give a welcoming atitude towards others. I've never heard anything bad about myself.
When I'm on the court I try not to show my emotions. I'm not saying that they don't slip out once in a while but showing emotion can give my oppenent an advantage. I feel when I don't show them it keeps my team mates calm and collected as well.
Healthy athletic performance is an all-around subject. I need to physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight. As a college athlete, it is easier for me to workout everyday and get my academics in line. I condition and lift weights everyday, interchanging the two. As I've been in college I've realized the importance of staying on top of my grades.
Eating healthy and drinking healthy are also very important to me. I eat as well as our cafeteria allows me to do. It's a day-to-day battle to stay healthy and I know I'm doing my best.
I've been a Boy Scout since the first grade. I am an Eagle Scout. Our tennis team here at Seward County Community College does community service projects about 5 times a school year. Usually for the local museums or county monuments. I enjoy doing community service projects because it is something that brings me joy. I love seeing people happy with the work we do for them.
