I wrestle for Minisink High school varsity I was one of three boy's from the 8th grade who made it to varsity.I went 10-2 and placed 4th in sections.Started wrestling in the 1st grade,in the 5th grade I placed 3rd in NY State. the reason i am saying this is NOT to Brag But to show the improvement myself and my coaches have helped me make.I am looking forward to the next 4 years of wrestling to improve that much more and looking forward to Collage.
Know that going into High school I believe that many more doors will open up for me and the squire / 4-H group and I will have many more chances to do more community service for my community. But for the time being I will continue to do what I have been doing for the community working hard for the ones who do not have ,working hard on my grades and continue to be the best athlete I can possibly be.
Like I have said before in order for a young athlete to be healthy and do well in school it is very important to eat properly Not do any kinds of drugs or drinking stay focused on the big picture, witch is what you want to do for the rest of your life and collage is the only way to make this happen. I want to keep giving back to my community by doing community service and staying focus on my grades and my sports.
my Name is Gerard Daly and I'm a member of the Squires / 4-H group. Are group is involved in do only community service.I have been involved with this group since the second grade and what we do is visit the elderly in nursing homes and go apple picking and make pies for the church to raise money for the homeless,I collect clothes for the homeless every year, and also help raise money for star athletics so the girls on the team can travel.this is just some of the community service that I do for the community .I'm also a teen leader in 4-H and run gun safety coarse with my father who is a New York City Retired Policeman.I was taught how to make baby quilts in 4-H and for service to the community we make them every year and donate them to the migrant workers in Warwick NY.So this is just a small part of the community service that I do and I hope that this is the kind of Athlete on a mission that you are looking for.Thank for your time!
