I was named athlete of the week twice and was voted to the all-region IX team and the Region IX all-tournament team.
In the fall of 2013 I played volleyball at Iowa Lakes Community College. There, I started out the season as a right side, was moved to middle mid-season, and finished the season as an outside. Upon completion of the fall semester at ILCC, I transferred to Otero for the spring semester where I trained as a middle blocker and would become the starting middle for OJC during the 2014 season.
While at Otero Junior College, I was named athlete of the week twice and was voted to the all-region IX team and the Region IX all-tournament team. I finished the 2014 season with a total of 379 kills with a hitting percentage of .256, and averaged 2.69 kills per set. I also had 35 solo blocks and 104 blocks assists with only 20 blocking errors. While in high school I was awarded All Conference and All State my senior year at Eaton high school, in Eaton, Colorado. My approach is 9ft and 7in and my standing block jump is 9ft 1in.
Off the volleyball court I have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.28 and am currently active in the Presidents Leadership Program and Phi Theta Kappa. I am the president of Ag club and the secretary of Associated Student Government on campus. Throughout all of these organizations I have learned to develop myself as a person and as a leader all while completing 68 hours of community service during the fall semester.
I try to see the good in everything keep my spirits up and get people motivated, coach always says I have a good attitude and she loves when I bring it to the floor. I always make people beleive in them selves
