Currently, I'm a Junior at Weymouth High School. I have been playing football since I was 7. I love to play the game. I've been known for my athletic abilities, speed, football intelligence and character. I ran Varsity winter and spring track last year to increase my speed on the field. I now run the 40 yard dash in 4.54 seconds.
This football season I was a starting Varsity receiver and completed 41 pass and scored 9 touchdowns which was a second best record for Division 1 receivers. At the end of this season I was voted as a Football Captain for next year; a Football All Star; and a Football All Scholastic player. Last year I played both Varsity and JV Football. I scored 17 touchdowns during my sophomore year on JV.
I have a great work ethic both on and off the field. I am versatile and put in 100% always. I enjoy being a mentor to the underclassmen and my teammates and lead by example. I am mainly a slot receiver but can play several positions including RB, OLB, special teams, corner, safety. The Wildcats had a record season last year. I am proud to have been a part of that and look forward to another record breaking season next year.
I have earned a letter in both Indoor and Outdoor Track and was named Most Valuable Rookie in 2012 Spring Track as I earned the third most points for my team. I was also included in the list of Track All Stars and Track All Scholastic runners.
I have a few dreams that I would like to fulfill. First, is to play in the National Football League. Next, I would like to have a family, and third is to help people around the world who live in difficult living situations and make it better for them. One of my personal goals and aspiration is to become a professional football player after I complete college. I have a strong desire to play at that level. During college I would like to study Athletic Training or History. People who inspire me to do so are my football coaches, especially head coach Mackin; and one of my teachers Mrs. McDonald who has helped me be successful with high school classes. These are a few of my recent accomplishments.
I have been invited, and will attend, the June 2, 2013 Lauren's First and Goal Football Camp at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania benefiting Lauren's goal of raising donations for brain tumor research
I have been invited, and will attend, the May 5, 2013 Massachusettes High School Coaches Association's Prospect Scouting Combine at Gillette Stadium. This combine not only helps the athletes it more importantly supports Shriner's Burn Unit in Boston.
I have recently attended the Elite Football Academy, of Massachusetts, Combine and recorded a 40 Yard Dash time of 4.54 seconds; a Vertical Jump of 31"; and a Broad Jump of 8'-8"
I will be attending the July 1, 2013 New England Elite Football Camp at Bentley University, MA
I have passed all of my Massachusetts State High School exams required for graduation on my first try during my sophomore year
I have improved my freshman year GPA of 2.52 to 2.77 during my sophomore year; I'm currently at the 2.9 GPA level for my Junior year
I have made high school honor roll for the fall semester this year, and three times during my sophomore year
I have been volunteering in the Youth Football Clinics mentoring the younger athletes
In April I am participating in a flag football game that will raise money for a local boy who lost his leg in a car accident and will need a new prosthetic leg every year while he is growing
I was selected and attended the High School Sportsmanship Summit on November 16th, 2012 at Gillette Stadium
I lead all Division 1 wide receivers in touchdown receptions for the 2012 season
I have been voted Captain for upcoming 2013 Senior Football Season
I have earned an 'All Star' and 'All Scholastic' title in Football (2012 Season)
I have earned an 'All Star' and 'All Scholastic' title in track
I have earned two high school letters in track (indoor/outdoor)
This year (2013) I earned a Varsity pin in indoor track, I earned the most points for my team 47.75. Coach said he has never seen anyone more explosive off the blocks as me. Even with 6 teammates holding them in place they still moved
I was named a Captain for the 2013-2014 Track team.
