Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I am one of the leaders of our softball team, I have been the varsity softball catcher since my freshman year. To me the catcher is the one on the field who takes the most control. I let everyone know what play needs to be made before the play starts. I always try to have a positive attitude and have fun with what I'm doing. I love helping people out, when it comes to the freshman when they don't know what there quite doing yet the best feeling is helping them out and watching them do it right, that's my favorite part. In hockey I try my best to help others will drills and stretching and always being a positive person, I love laughing and having a good time. I also know when its time to be serious when I need to be. I love helping people out, the feeling afterwards is amazing!

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I have hockey practice Monday and Wednesdays, the others days I go and workout, lifting wieghts and running. I eat what I'm suppose to, fruits and vegetables everyday, 3 meals a day and a couple of healthy snacks here and there. I stay away from all the peer pressure in high school and do my own thing. Sports is my life and I will do anything to keep playing as long as I can!

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am involved in a couple activites, here are a couple of them. Yearbook, Science Club, SADD, and Softball.
