Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I tend to lead with my actions more than being a vocal leader, not saying I'm not a vocal leader, i just lead by example and working hard. I led my team through summer workouts in the weight room and on the track, and I am always speaking words of encouragement to my teammates whether we are winning or loosing. You will never here a negative thing out of me, even if I'm getting sacked 10 times and were down 50, its always words of encouragement to work together.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I pursue a healthy athletic performance by working hard in the weight room and at practice. My team is dedicated and I strive to be the best I can. I keep healthy and stay away from thing like drugs, alcohol, and steroids to give me a "fair and earned" competitive edge over others.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

My high school requires 20 hours of community service before graduation, I have exceeded the 20 hours by far. I volunteer at my church and elementary schools in my community, to me this is important because helping others out is a great thing; it helps others and makes you feel good inside, like you made a difference.
