Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.
-
Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.
-
Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have been a lay reader at my church, St. James Episcopal for 3 years. Being a lay refer has allowed me to contribute to my church and has given me experience speaking in public. I was very active in community service when I was very young. My older sisters were both very heavily involved in Girl Scouting and I frequently helped with feeding the needy and community clean up efforts. As I grew older the demand of my (3) sports, frequently conflicted with these activities. I miss being a part of these efforts. Being a lay reader at my church has been one way of giving back to my community. I have also participated in community outreach through Landon. I enjoy these activities and feel strongly that they are a vital part of my growth as a person.
