Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

As a new upperclassmen this year in baseball and over 20 new freshman coming into our program, I knew it would be important to help ease them into the program, since the step between Little League and High School baseball tends to be a big one. Outside of sports, I served as the Senior Patrol Leader in my Boy Scout troop for 6 months. I coordinated troop meetings, managed our scouts, and helped them achieve new ranks.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am an Eagle Scout, and have been participating in community service projects for Boy Scouts since the 5th grade. I will be an academic coach at my school for history next year, and I also help out at a local food bank in my free time. This is important to me because the community benefits my life in many ways, and the least that I can do is spend some of my time to give back what I can.
