The school district I attend utilizes a "non-standard" grading scale. On a regular "Ten Point" scale my QPA would be a 3.1. Please check with my guidance counselor for additional clarity.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I have three younger siblings who look up to me. I've learned that they are always watching me and that I have a duty and responsibility to show them good habits and help them. I provide leadership to them by helping them with their homework and showing them, with my actions, the importance of good study habits.

As an athlete, my coaches have always told me to be the example on and off the field. Last year, my team had won a game but some problems arose. I chose to be a peace maker and keep our team focused by my play on the field, my actions in the locker room, and how I interacted with my coaches.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Last summer and fall, I was attended a very well known camp. During this camp the counselors reinforced good eating and work out habits. I love to workout and eating right, proper training and rest are the keys being healthy and doing my best.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I attend Mt. Zion Baptist church where my father is my pastor. My church is involved with many community activities that includes community outreach, feeding and clothing those in need and tutoring.

These efforts are important to me because I am a part of my community and want my community to be successful.
