I am a very hard working and motivated individual who loves the sport of golf. When not competing, I am constantly working on the course to improve my game. I am ready and excited to begin my senior year and have the opportunity to continue golf on the collegiate level. My scores are currently not where I want them, but I am constantly working to fix mistakes, both mental and swing wise, to bring my game where it needs to be. My goal for my senior year is consistent low 70’s to below par rounds.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I feel it is important to lead by example, both on and off the field. I believe that honor and integrity are two of the most important traits a athelete or person can have. On the field I have called penalties on myself, that no one else saw, that would have been easy to ignore, but not the right thing to do. I make it a point to be a gracious wiinner, when things go well, and a gracious loser, when things don't go well. Off the field I try to carry that same attitude and pass it on to the younger girls. I feel it is important to spend time and really talk to younger golfers coming up, and set a good example for them to follow.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I think it is very important for one to lead by example. I do not do drugs, of any kind, I also make this known to all the people around me, and make a point to surround myself with people that have these same values.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I believe being active in the community brings out the best in people. It is important and it makes one feel good to give back and help make a difference or put a smile on someones face. For the last three years I have been involved in my hometown parade activities, Breast Cancer Awarness Activities and helped serve meals at a local retirement community. I have also participated in fundraising activities to help families.
