Personal Highlights

I had a shoulder problem that limited my swimming from the time I was 13 until I was 15 (2008 to 2010). My shoulder now is much better and I have not had any problems with it the last year and half.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.
-
Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I pursue a healthy athletic performance by keeping an even balance between my classwork and swim practice and/or swim meets. My school work always comes first. When in the water I swim each event to the best of my ability. I am not concerned with my times or what place I finish. I feel that if I always practice hard and then concentrate on doing my best that my times will continue to drop whether I swim a best time each time out or not.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.
