Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I have demonstrated leadership in both areas by being a mature role model and example for my four younger siblings. They look up to me, and I pride myself for rarely failing to lead them down the correct path. To be a part of someone else's life other than mine is a great feeling, but it also comes with a lot of responsibility. i enjoy it, though, because it makes me feel like I am making a difference.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student by placing a high importance on my grades. My parents have always drilled into me academics first, athletics second. At times I find it difficult to keep straight on that path (due to my immense love of sports), but I have maintained a strong GPA around 3.5. However, I expect more of myself so my goal is to finish with a 4.0.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

Recently I have been involved in volunteer efforts to help the MCF (Manatee County Foundation). The Manatee Community Foundation is a "creative, cost-effective and tax-efficient way for people to invest in the charitable causes they care about most". It is a great organization because it helps give to not just one charity, but many charities. Volunteering is important to me because I enjoy giving back to the community, and the happiness and gratitude of the recipients is worth the hard work.
