Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.
-
Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

To me, healthy athletic performance involves both the body and the mind. While I am a staunch believer in a healthy diet and daily workouts, I am just as adamant about keeping my mind healthy. I make every effort to so and firmly believe it takes both aspects to achieve and be a healthy athlete.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have had many opportunities to serve my community and take great pride in helping when I can. My greatest contribution to date was a week long trip to New Orleans where I participated in a Habitat for Humanity project. Although the week was long and the work demanding, I was able to see how blessed I am and how big of an impact I can have on the less fortunate.
