Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On the Track I have developed leadership skills that benefit others in a motivating positive way. I demonstrate random acts of kindness to athletes who I have never seen before, like giving them a cup of water after they just finished a race after mine. I carry myself as a leader on the field in tremendous ways, but it doesn't end there. Off the track I demonstrate what it means to be a great person. A people person who doesn't follow the crowd when times get rough. Instead make something out of it.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Pusuing to be the best I can be as a Student-athlete is hard. Great grades in the class and Great times on the Track are some of my highest ambitions. I take every advantage to overcome the adversities that come with striving for me to reach these goals.I give it all I got both ways and believe that I will get out what I put in.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

On Sundays, I individually volunteer myself to the San Francisco Food Bank helping sort and process food.
I also serve as a Chinese Lion Dancer bringing the culture through Performing. My group is called Loong Mah Sing See Wui, from San Francisco
I also help my coach Anthony Rollins who is head coach of the San Francisco Striders track club and Phillip and Salla Burton high track team of San Francisco. I help him by leading warm-ups and cool-downs after I finish my practice.
