Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I often lead the Shot-put team and the track team as a whole. I am often focused at practice to where I have had some individuals look up to me. I lead the warm-ups and stretches. I help out with techniques. At a track meets I often tell everybody what needs to be done and where they need to be. Off of the field, during school I keep my grades up and stay out of trouble. At times their was students who wanted to quit and I talked them out of it. Also students who were bullied, I helped.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

During track season i lift weights and it increases my hunger. I eat alot of fruit. Also drink alot of powerades and gatorades. I sometimes eat more vegteables during the season. When I prepare for a trackmeet I always but trailmix, 100% fruit fruit snacks, water, gatorade, and fruits.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I participated in the International Baccalaureate program my first two years of high school. It consisted of 30 hours of volunteer work throughout the community. I volunteered at the Main Library in Roanoke Virginia and the Gainsboro Library. My junior year, i cleaned up a highway for the ECMC(Education Credit Management Corporation) Scholarship Program that I am currently in. And since this is my senior year the ECMC Program will consist of five plus hours of volunteer. I absolutely do not mind helping out the community. It is a pleasure and reward to know that i cleaned up a highway in my community to improve it.Also helping the children at the library's.
