Personal Highlights

I am a 6' 0" MH/RS/OH from Sacramento, Ca. I have been a starter for my varsity teams in 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 seasons. I played MH, OH and I was named All-Metro Honorable Mention 2013-2014, Best Offensive Player 2013-2014, All League for 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 and scholar athlete in 2011-2012, 2012-2013 and 2013-2014. I am beginning my 4th club season at Synergyforce on the 17-1s team. I was on NCVC 15-1 where we placed 5th overall in the American Division at JNC in Columbus, Oh 2012 and my 16-1s earned a national bid and JNC 2013. My dream is to play college volleyball while pursuing a degree in exercise science.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.
-
Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

My workouts vary from day to day. I try to do some kind of physical activity daily to keep in shape. I swim every day and bike to swim practice several times a week. In addition, I do some form of jump training to improve my vertical.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I just recently became involved with fostering and taking care of animals. I volunteer at Happy Tails Cat Sanctuary as well as the SPCA. I am currently fostering and caring for animals at home until they are ready to be adopted out and I also work at the local Petsmart taking care of the animals. I am getting ready to join the Mustard Seed spin which is a bicycle ride to help the Mustard Seed Children's foundation.
As well as taking care of animals, I am involved in volunteering at our local library.
