Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I try to push every athlete to their max, whether it's cheering them on during an erg piece or starting a weight circuit. At school I run a new club that battles racism and diversity issues.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Rowing is a very demanding sport, one that ensures a healthy lifestyle. A successful rower is typically more athletic than his/her peers at school, they endure more pain and mental focus is always at maximum.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

Because I attend a Catholic education, not only am I required to complete service hours, but it is looked well upon, I have volunteered at Boys and Girls Club, YMCA, Elderly homes, and even rowing camps for beginning rowers and the disabled.
