Softball Additional

I pitched almost every game for my high school team.

Have been going to a pitching coach in Lee's Summit area for a few years now. I have four pitches, a fastball, change up, drop, and screw. My fastball has a lot of movement especially down. I can use the nine spots or just corners, depends on coaches preference. I feel I am a dedicated and hard work. I will take advice from my coaches. I can also play about anywhere except catcher. My second position is right field.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I am the president of my 4-H club, county youth liaison for the county, and an officer for Future Business Leaders of America. I have been president three years and always want to lead. I like to talk in front of others. The club loves having me lead and keeping them on task. I also talk with reps from the state 4-H council to feed that information back to our county.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.
Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.
