Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Cody Okray and I are the heart of the defense for our team. Cody gets the plays from coach and I keep the teams heads in the game. Both of us are very up tempo and excited players. Together we keep the defense pumped and ready to play. I also can run the defense by myself. For example He has been hurt, therefor I stepped up and took control. A good example off the feild would be talking to kids. I have 3 sisters still in grade school. Sometimes I go to pick up my sisters were many kids look up to me. I give them all high fives especially the kids wearing football jerseys for their schools. Another example is helping at the camels kids camp were the football players help grade school kids to better understand their possitions and jobs. Finally as a team we allow the junior high kids to listen in on our half time talks and also watch the game. After the game the seniors, which included me this year go in to talk to the junior high kids about our football program and doing good in school. I gave a speech I wrote about how school comes first and if you can accomplish good grades and work hard to stay in football the family you gain and the feeling of going onto the feild on friday nights is well worth all the work you put in.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

School and football are the most important thing in life right now. I have the will to say no to drinking and drugs. The consuquences are too great to even attend a party. Although all my friends do it I stay away. My number one priority in my life is to play college football; I would never risk not playing football to have fun with some friends and get drunk. On top of that steroids are the worst option, theres no satisfaction in having to cheet to be better than your opponent. All in all I not only pursue a "healthy athletic performance" I have a "healthy athletic performance".

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

In both my football and hockey teams we do community service's. Recently I have sold over a hundred shirts for breast cancer awareness month. As a football team we decided to be great people on and off the feild. Together we work at our community soup kitchen. The same go's for hockey. Where we also hand out food to people supported by CFS.
