I have always enjoyed helping others, whether as an Ambassador for my school, Link Crew Mentor, or Kairos Retreat leader. They are all leadership roles that have been very rewarding for me. I have found that by taking on an active role, I am given a voice and feel more in control of my future. These experiences have enriched me and prepared me better for life both on and off the field.
I feel that "heathly athletic performance" means to alway give 110% in your endeavor within a holistic approach. I am very conscience of my diet, disciplined within my workout program and dedicated to lacrosse 110%. These all must work together for me to maximize my performance.
Within that same idea, I work hard to maintain a healthy balance between sports and academics through self-discipline and time-management.
I have been involved with several charitable campaigns over the past years including Special Olympics, Blood Drives, Thanksgiving Meal Deliveries, Veterans Hospital, and Toys for Tots. I enjoy working with people and expecially the special athletes. It is great to be able to share the power of sports with others. It's great when you see people discover thier strengths and abilities as well as feel success. It exemplifies the human spirit as these athletes find joy, confidence and fulfillment that is carried over into thier daily lives.
