Baseball Honors

2nd team all-conf. Kelly baseball showcase for juniors
Selected to play for the Sierra Sundevils (Joe Dimagio National Champs 2003; runner-up 2004)I pitched two innings in the Kelley Showcase and had two hits , two strikeouts, and no earned runs. I hit 85 mph on twenty radar guns from professional scouts, college coaches, and JC coaches. In 2006 I have recorded 30 strikeouts in only 16 innings pitched with a 2.14 era. During my senior season, I threwh a no-hitter and two three hitters before I was injured. I was consistently at 86mph. I have been rehabiing and am over 200lbs and 6'2". I am confident that I will be in the low 90's when healthy.

Baseball Additional

I have not updated my stats as we had such a poor offensive and defensive team, it does not reflect my pitching abilities. I had an ERA of 5.0 and win/loss record of 2-2. In only 22 innings piched I struck out 46 batters. Without this injury I would have had over 100 strikeouts for the season.

Other Academic Information
Due to an injury , I have taken a year off and am currently taking six hours( english and math) at a local JC. I am going to take an additional six to nine hours in the spring of 2007. Since recruiting interest faded when I sustained the injury, I chose not to take the S.A.T. and A.C.T. exams and attend a local J.C. If my spring season goes well and it looks like the four year scholls are interested again, I will definitely take whichever placement tests help me get enrolled.
