Always improve. Never feel like you are just good enough. Set your goals higher and higher. Try your best to keep other things in life separate from your athletics as to not cause lack of focus while participating. Also do your best to help your teammates. This will improve you because you almost polish your ability by demonstrating and being a role model and it also gives you better partners to practice with.
I am involved in assisting my mother's non-profit, The Children's Healing Institute. I help with events, marathons, luncheons etc. I also donate out of my own pocket to the organization and have donated 162 hours of community service. I also help coach the Junior Cobras at my school as often as possible.
