"Simone is highly skilled player. She is a 6 rotation player that can pass serve and pass defensively as well. She is very quick footed both laterally and front to back. She can hit well from the back row. Has every complement of shots in the front row. "

"AMAZING personality and gets along with EVERYONE. She leads by example of her play and also her conduct and how hard she works at the game she loves. "

"Simone is an excellent volleyball player that can play all the way around. She is equally as good in the back row as she is in the front row. I have seen Simone take over games and become unstoppable. She is also a difference maker with her ability to read what is happening and react quickly to what she reads. He instincts are outstanding. I would take 10 players just like Simone. "

"Simone is one of the easiest players to coach that I have had. She works hard in practice and is not afraid to ask questions when she doesn't understand. She has one of the best smiles! He teammates love her and she is not afraid to hold her teammate accountable for their actions on the floor. While she is not the loudest player on the floor, her play and attitude make her extremely popular among her teammates. "

"Simone is an amazing athlete. She came in as a freshman with amazingly raw talent and fundamental skills, and over the past two years, she has added power and intensity to her game, both on offense and defense. "

"Simone has always been somewhat quiet when it comes to anyone besides her teammates, but it seems that she's at her greatest level of comfort around them, who also happen to be her closest friends. She has a quiet, yet effective leadership style, and she's come to be known as a leader in our program, and a go- to player on the teams on which she plays (eg. Club, school). She is a pleasure to be around and is highly coachable. It is my feeling that Simone will continue to develop over the next two seasons and be a standout player on a NCAA D1 roster in 2019."

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I love volleyball. I can't see my life without volleyball in it. The next obvious step for me is college volleyball. Both of my sisters played high school volleyball and one played club volleyball with many offers to play in college. She regrets not accepting offers to play in college now because she misses the sport a lot. She wanted to focus on her studies, but I can do both and still succeed. I have been playing club since age 10. I have always played up one year and feel that even though I'm younger than my club teammates, I stand out and act as an impact player on the court.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I am a leader. I am 2 time high school captain and 6 time club captain. I know what needs to happen to win on and off the court. For example, I earned an A+ in pre-calculus and an A- in Statistics during this last semester. It was hard work, but I set goals in the most difficult classes and I did it. I inspired my friends to do the same and they also accomplished their goals.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I pursue healthy athletic performance by eating right and making sure I’m ready to compete. I take safety precautions on and off the court. I understand that I have to measure myself and have all of my energy throughout matches and not run out of gas. I learned this from Lebron James. He’s great all the time, but always saves his body by measuring his performance.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I volunteer at the Twinsburg library in the children's department. I want to be a pediatrician or sports medicine physician. I am in a foreign language club, black history club, pep club, drama club, worked at a food charity event, homecoming committee, and various middle school events. I also volunteer at an elementary school throughout the year. Volunteering is important because helping others makes everyone better and I love kids.
