MVL GOLFER OF THE YEAR
NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY WITH A 3.9 GRADE AVERAGE
I believe that I am a leader on and off the course in many ways. Tri-Valley did not have a girls golf team. It was because of me that Tri-Valley can say they have a girls golf team. I mentioned the idea to the athletic director, we started out as a club, but became a team in 2014. Because of my leadership skills, I believe we became a strong team, on and off the course. Encouragement and dedication is my key as a leader to show the other girls on the team that we are strong.
I persure a healthy athletic performance by maintaing a healthy weight and working out regularly. I also participate in competitive cheerleading in my hometown, this sport helps me build muscle in the places that I need for my golf preparation. I work out to build strength and muscles to maintain a healthy golf figure to avoid injury.
I am very involved in my community. I volunteer at several places. One place I volunteer at is Williow Haven Care Center in Zanesville, Ohio. I have volunteered there for a year. I also volunteer at the elementary school in a organization called Big Brother Big Sisters. I visit these places once a week. The volunteer work that I do is very important to me. It helps me in my social skills with participating with the elderly and the young.
