I lead my teammates by having a positive Can Do attitude. I help players improve their skills by working with them on technique and by giving them inspiration. I lead by my work ethic, I am the first on the field and the last to leave.
As a student athlete, I have to balance my time for academics and sports. In addition to making sure my grades are good, I also need to make sure my body and mind are healthy. In my spare time, I play wall ball, shoot, run, swim, and work out at the YMCA.
Volunteer West 2011 and 2012 (100+ hours). Volunteers for Belleville Main Street Association. I help at BMS community efforts such as, being the Gingerbread Man Mascot at street festivals, delivering information packets and set-up for functions. I also volunteered at the Southern Illinois Ice Hawks Learn to Play Program, teaching youth the sport of ice hockey. Volunteered at the Hop, Skip and Roll event to help orphanges in Russia. One of which I am from. I volunteer on my lacrosse team, helping new players at youth and high school learn the game on nights and weekends. I am also the head coach of a U15 lacrosse team.
