Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I was voted both Co-Captain and MVP of my High School's golf team my sophomore year and would often help my coach work with beginning golfers.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I have always been active in sports. I played AA/AAA ice hockey until my freshman year of high school and played travel lacrosse until my sophomore year of high school. Involvement in those sports taught me the importance of physical fitness and healthy eating. if you do not take care of yourself you cannot play your best. Now with a focus on golf I work hard to make sure that I keep a balance by sticking to a physical fitness program as well as working on my swing.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am currently working with an international student as a tutor to help them with their English.
I am actively involved with our school's newspaper.
