Quinton Rockhold’s 28-yard field goal with 6:58 remaining in the first quarter capped a game-opening 10-play, 63-yard drive and gave the Blue Eagles a 3-0 lead.

Rockhold added a 23-yard field goal with 9:32 left in the game to make it 19-8 and, after the Rebels had another three-and-out on their ensuing possession, Zajdowicz capped a 10-play, 52-yard drive with 3:15 remaining on his 3-yard TD run.

Quinton Rockhold booted the extra-point attempt between the uprights, and the Blue Eagles held from there on to claim a hard-earned 7-3 victory that left both teams with a 2-2 record on the season/

Quinton Rockhold tacked on the extra-point kick to give the Blue Eagles the lead, 7-6.

Quinton Rockhold was a perfect 5-for-5 on extra point conversions.

Working from the 30 to start their next drive, the Eagles moved the chains on a beautiful run by Zajdowicz, who jumped over defenders on a misdirection run. However, that is as far as the Eagles would get. Later in the drive, Rockhold would pin the Mavericks on a punt.

On the ensuing kickoff, the Mavericks nearly got the points back. However, a nice open field tackle by Rockhold stopped the Mavericks from doing any damage.
