Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

As a goalie I am able to help my teammates in the field with situations they cannot see by communicating with them. After rough games, or great games, my teammates and I shake hands with the players and officials, and I always make sure to tell the opposing goalie they did well.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

As a student-athlete, it is important to get plenty of sleep and study whenever there is time, even in-between games. Staying focused in class, and hydrated during practice are the main keys to keeping a healthy athletic performance and good grades.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am involved in the Rotary International Club and Key Club at Bear River High School, I am also a student tutor and a junior polo coach. These services are important to me because of how it affects others. The community service clubs let me reach out to those who need help in my community, and the tutoring and coaching allows me to help out other kids to be successful in school and in the pool.
