I am a very hard working student athlete and I am going to put a lot of time into trying to find the perfect school for me academically and baseball wise.
It is very important to me to play collage baseball because I have put a lot of work and money into making myself a better player and I want to show everybody that I have what it takes and make my community, family, and friends proud.

I am a very hard working student. I take a lot of pride in my academics. Every year I challenge myself more as I take harder courses. I feel that I have a lot to learn and with a lot of hard work and a lot of help I can keep learning and keep getting smarter. I have set every strict goals for myself just as I do on the field for a season. This year is very important to me and I am going to work harder and study harder then anyone out there to get that mental and physical edge.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I see myself as always being a leader to others. Not only on the field, but in everything I do. Every group needs a strong leader to push them to better them selfs. As a leader of my team I stay after and work with teammates in the cage on getting their swing better. I have had a lot of great coaching in my life and it is a honor to be able to share that with my team and make the team stronger. Off the field I see myself as a selfless person and always look out for my friends. Make sure that they don't make mistakes that could effect them later in life. I try to keep them on the right path. I try to study with team mates or other classmates that need help so that we can better each other. Leadership has always been part of me and I will always keep that with me on and off the field.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I purse a healthy athletic performance as a student by setting an example in the classroom of a well rounded young man that wants to do something in life. I workout just as hard as I study everyday to make sure I have the edge in the next game or on the next test. As a wrestler I maintain a healthy diet and stick to healthy foods and vegetables that will help me proform better on the field and stay focused in the classroom. As an athlete you have to realize that grades are just as important as your performance on the field so I put just as much time and effort as I put into baseball as I do my studies.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

Nothing is more important than a strong community, and respecting that community and others. Personally, I believe that people can accomplish so much more together then they could by them-selfs. This is why I am the epitome of a team player, on the field and in my community. When we all work together we can make things happen that some can only dream of doing by alone. I service my community by helping with baseball camps at my high school steering the youth in the right direction. I lead my team by example and do the right things and always listen to what I am told and think about what I am doing before I do it. These efforts are important to me because we are nothing without our friends and family, and if I lost my community and family I don't know who I would be as a person.
