Service

How I am involved in service in my community and why these efforts are important to me:

2014- Salvation Army Bell Ringer
2014 - Peer Tutor in Special Education
2013 - Belle Aire Youth Group - Yard Work @ Special Kids Center & in inner city area
2013 & 2014 - Belle Aire Baptist Church Nursery Worker
2011 & 2012- Indian Hills Golf Club Junior Camp Volunteer
2012 - Belle Aire Baptist Church Mission Trip to Mississippi
2012- Warriors for a Cure Golf Tournament Volunteer

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. One example of how I have demonstrated leadership in both areas:

I have been a Girls Team Captain in both Middle School & High School. I was a Basketball Co-Captain in 7th & 8th Grade, and was Captain of the Middle School Golf Team. I have been the High School Girls Captain in 10th and 11th and made Varsity all three years. My freshman year was the 1st year Riverdale Girls ever went to state as a team. Also, I was selected to attend Youth Leadership Rutherford. We will meet monthly and be involved in many community service projects.

How I pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete:

I am working to concentrate on one shot at a time and not allow a bad shot to ruin my day. The Mental Game is so important in golf ! Also, I work hard to balance school work, golf practice, and gym time. I want to bring my scores down and keep my grades up so I can go as far as I can to play college golf.
