Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On the field, I am the team captain, whenever our team has struggles amongst ourselves I am there to lessen the tension and bring the team back together. Off the field, I remind my teammates that we need each other on the field so they need to perform in the classroom.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I eat healthy, drink lots of water, and workout to maintain a healthy life and body. Over the summer, everyday, we do the "Insanity/P90X" workout program as a team and this plays a major role in our team's athletic abilities.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I volunteer at my local nursing home. I help the elderly by spending one on one time with different ones there. It is important to me because I have a family member in that same nursing home. I try to make it a better environment for her and the rest of the residents to live in.
