Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.
-
Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

As a student athlete I choose to stay in shape year round. When I am not playing tennis, I condition by playing volleyball and basketball, and in slower times I run. Year round I eat healthy foods and specifically concentrate on hydration by eliminating soft drinks out of my diet and drinking as much water as I can.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have accumulated close to 600 service hours since I have been in high school. The majority of these 586 hours have been through church missions. I have also volunteered for key club, meals on wheels, helping blind bike riders, and working with hospice. These service service projects are important to me because I like to make a difference in the lives of people who are in need and I find joy in helping others out.
