Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On the field I show leadership by giving my teammates trust on the court. There are many times where I would be open to take the shot but if I see my teammate working hard I would pass her the ball. In addition , I encourage my teammates on and off the court. When I see them improving and getting better at something I would give them a pat on the back. Off the field I spend time with my teammates. Even though I am busy with school, clubs and organizations I try to have communication with them. I love to bond. I feel that if a team bonds more there is more trust. The more trust I have with a team the better we perform. I am leader on and off the court. I am there to encourage, improve, and help my teammates.

The road to success is not straight.

There is a curve called Failure.

A loop called Confusion.

You will have flats called Jobs.

But, if you have a spare called Determination, an engine called Perseverance, and a driver called Bo Hayes!

I will bring your team to a place called Success!

In addition, I have been apart of many leadership camps such as: Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Camp, Junior Cadet Leadership Challenge Camp, Caroline High School Leadership Academy and Girls State Virginia.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I perform healthy athletic performance by eating healthy, working out weekly and by having a positive attitude.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am involved in service for the community through a number a ways. First I am in many clubs and organizations. The clubs I am in are BETA, FCCLA, Future Business Leaders of America, Interact Club (Rotary), National Honors Society, Student Council Association, and JROTC. I participate in many service projects. I am currently organizing one. My service project will not only benefit those who are in need of shoes but those who need help financially. I am doing a fundraiser that consists of people donating shoes. With those donated shoes I will bring them to a company who will give me money for those shoes. I will use that money to donate to local nursing homes and charities. Bringing the community together and helping it is my hobbies. I love to do it and will continue doing for the rest of my life.
