Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Since my freshman year, I was able to partake in the main relay for my high-school swim team, and was often a crucial leg of it. I was able to inspire younger athletes due to my perseverance and enthusiasm for the sport.

Off the field, I have always been capable of taking on extra work for the benefit of others. For the past two years, I have moved up a level on my French Competitions during the year, as other members were unable to take part in the event.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

As a swimmer, I make smart decisions both in and out of the pool. I never allow personal experiences to interfere with my swimming schedule, and always make healthy decisions regarding my performance.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

During the summer of my freshman and sophomore year, I was a volunteer at the local hospital. I was a member of concierge, and would take part in wheelchair delivery, discharges, and gifts to the patients. I logged in approximately 55 hours each summer, and was an asset to my team. This was a memorable activity, as I was able to acquire experience in a field I have interest in.
