Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I lead by example both on and off the field. I fully commit to everything that I do. I strive to be the best I can be both academically and athletically. My work ethic is second to none and can only be outdone by my enthusiasm and dedication to succeed.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Since joining the "Family" at Gloucester Catholic High School I have worked very hard in the classroom to constantly improve my education, striving to become the best that I can be with my studies. As a young man, I volunteer my time and efforts within the communities in which I live to help others. As an athlete, I spend the rest of my time with improving my physical and mental fitness to become the best athlete I can be. Attending a school such as Gloucester Catholic High School is truly a rewarding experience and privilege. The coaching staff demands commitment to excellence and a schedule that proves it. Most days are filled with workouts and practices to continue to improve my skills, keeping them at the highest level of performance.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have been involved with activities in my community for several years, including providing food for the less fortunate, Toys for Tots, weekly services at my church, I have also volunteered my time with local sport teams to help younger kids learn the benefits of teamwork both on and off the field, re-enforcing that academics come first. I try to mentor my brothers (ages 11,12) and teach them that hard work, dedication and attitude are very important pillars for success.
