Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I was Selected football team all-star and game captain 2012 year
As student ambassador for my school, I assisted with all school event organization and hosted guest speakers.

In 2014-15, I have been chosen to represent our school on the Rachel's Challenge leadership group for our district to help solve local school issues related to bullying and school violence issues.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I attend athletic training four days per week both during and after school and adhere to a nutrition program. I lift weights and work on agility and speed training.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am involved in National Honor Society and we complete many community efforts. We assist in liter pick-up and work with the school at ballgames in keeping our area clean. I also work with my church youth program in assistance for the elderly and widows by doing their yard work for free. This is especially gratifying to me personally because I see how pleased many of those we help are. I also enjoy working with our school recycle program and we placed second in our area wide competition in 2013-14.
