Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I don't know if I have been a leader, up to this point I only know that I endeavor to be. so. It will be others that determine whether or not I have been effective as a leader.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

My father and I work out early in the morning at the YMCA. It feels good to know that I'm up when my peers are sleeping in. I want to out work everybody.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

In September as part of our Community Service Program I assisted in providing general maintenance to our local non-profit museum for NC History and Education. In November as I participated in feeding the homeless in our community as a server to those in need. It is very important that I get a chance to give of myself in service to others. The world is a complicated place and if we want to make it better we must all be willing to help one another. A lot has been given to me by my parents and their friends, I want to show I appreciate them by paying it forward.
