Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I currently am the Captian of our Varsity Soccer team. I also hold the position of Vice President in our FFA Chapter and serve as President of the Porterivlle Junior Fair Board. In addition, I am currently a board member of the Pacific Coast Quarter Horse Youth Association.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Diet is very important to maintain the stamina it takes to be the best athelete possible. I eat a high protien diet, lots of fruits and vegtables, drink plenty of fluids. Exercise out of season is important also. I currently am in PE as a senior to maintain my athletic stamina.

I show horses as a hobby which requires alot of skill, strength and stamina. My physical performance is very important to my lifestyle.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I've spent numerous hours teaching young 4H members about owning and caring for their horses. In addition I've helped with perfecting riding skills, assisting at horse shows and being a mentor.

As a member of the Junior Fair Board I spent time supporting events involved with cancer research, such as Relay for Life and Porterville Cancer Run.

I've been involved in collection efforts for coats and jackets for the needy. Collecting treat and various items for the military soldiers. Preparing food baskets for needy families in the Strathmore area.
