Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.
-
Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.
-
Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

In my community, I have volunteered in many places. I have volunteered at the Jones Library which is in the town of Amherst, MA. I also spent some time at the Amherst Senior Center washing dishes during the daily lunch time. One of the biggest places that I volunteered at was Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton, MA. I volunteered for 72 hours total over a summer. This experience was very important to me because it exposed me to the real world of health care and gave me hands on experience. It was really important for me to get the experience because it taught me what it was like to work in a hospital and to see if that was a career that I wanted to pursue. This volunteer job gave me the experience that most high school students do not get to have.
