Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Being the Captain of the Varsity Volleyball team comes with many responsibles on and off the court. On the court I try to pick my players up as much as I can and make sure even if we get the point or not everyone focuses on the next play and picks their heads up. Off the court i stay involved with the players on both Varsity and JV, and I maintain a good friendship with everyone.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I purse "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete by at every practice I give 100% and try my hardest so we can have a successful season, as the captain I also try to a good rolemodel since all the players look up to me, even off the court I try by working my hardest in school and staying in shape by running and playing many sports.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I stay involved in my community as much as I can. During the winter I help coach a basketball team at the middle school near me while playing AAU volleyball and working, also during Thanksgiving me and my family sometimes volunteer at a local church and help cook food and serve people that are in need. I try my best to stay active and help out everyone I can.
