Personal Highlights

Since my senior softball season hasn't started yet I'm not sure exactly what is going to happen this year pitching wise but, years in the past i have truly helped Queen City softball. Freshmen year, I was a starting shortstop for our varsity team but I pitched the last two games that determined wether or not our team would be attending playoffs. The first game was a shut out beating the other team 1-0. The second game was a close loss with the final score being 2-0. I was awarded 2nd team all-district shortstop. Sophmore year, I started almost every game and we had amazing records, not only pitching but batting also having a high BA and adding 2 homeruns. The final game before playoffs we played a team from New Diana. I started pitching, 5th inning came along with the score still being 0-0 later in the inning I was taken off the field and rushed to the hospital by ambulance due to a line drive in the face. It broke my maxillary sinus and had a severe blow out laceration on my face. We actually ended up winning the game in the bottom of the 12th inning. I was at practice the next day, and pitched less than a week later. I was awarded Most Dedicated from our school and Offensive MVP from our district. Junior year, i shared time with 2 other pitchers. We all took our share of time on the mound and our records came out great batting was awesome also. I made 1st team all state and 1st team all-district. Expectations this year are very high for me so i guess we will see.. SOFTBALL SEASON 2007 STARTS MONDAY, JANUARY 22ND..
